2024 Program Highlights
2024 accomplishments highlight the impact of your support:
225 Bishop Lawi Imathiu Secondary School (BLISS) student scholarships enabled disadvantaged youth to obtain a quality secondary education.
10 BLISS top-performing graduates received university scholarships.
19 additional BLISS graduates received scholarships for post-secondary vocational, technical or university education.
650 primary school students received porridge every school day.
Deserving female students received university scholarships based on academic excellence and their potential future impact in the community.
BLISS teacher and staff salaries were paid through grants due to insufficient government funding.
Basic school supplies and materials to facilitate national examinations were provided for BLISS, Gichunge Primary School, and Kithoka Primary School.
715 female students at 5 schools received sanitary pads and underwear to enable them to attend school every day.
Supplemental food supplies provided lunch for 678 BLISS students due to crop failure in school gardens.
BLISS Science Lab improvements for gas piping completed in 2024.
Community facility grant provided to rebuild Mwanika Church which serves as a center for many community-based programs.
All of this happened because of donations from you and our partner organizations.
