Announcing New KUEF Web Site
As KUEF Board members, we embrace the Kenyan Proverb: If you want to travel fast, travel alone. If you want to travel far, travel together. Our travels have led us to experience the joy of building community with our Kenyan Partners and transforming lives through education.
We are excited to introduce our new website at https://www.kuef.org.
Over the last 20 years, the Kenyan Urithi Education Fund has transformed lives in the rural village of Kithoka, Kenya through education. Education is breaking the cycle of poverty.
One major challenge has been a lack of Government funding for education including teacher salaries. Our current goal is to raise $90,000 for 2024/2025 and work toward consistent, sustainable funding.
In 2024 our program needs include:
Scholarship - $30,000
Teacher Support - $25,000
Feeding Program- $10,000
Girls Education Period - $10,000
School Books and Supplies - $10,000
Music Program - $5,000
For more information about our programs and our history, please visit our new web site. We will be providing you with further information in the near future. If you are interested in making a contribution now, kindly visit our Donate page.
Blog Post Title One
Eliminating Poverty through Education
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
